Neutral Cure RTV silicone adhesive

RTV Silicone adhesives produce by-products during the curing process. The by-products of the most common type of Acetoxy cure adhesive sealants are corrosive in nature and will damage sensitive metals including copper and bronze. Therefore it is important for electronic applications to select a cure system that only produce non-corrosive by products.

ACC Silicones manufacture two systems; traditional Alkoxy and their new patented Acetone cure adhesives. Alkoxy cured products are slower to cure and have lower operating temperatures. The newer Acetone cure RTV's are fast curing, high temperature and very versatile. The small amount of acetone produced during cure is non-toxic and does not present any flammability issues
