How much silicone do I need to complete my mould?

You need to work out the volume of your mould - length x Breadth  x height

This can then be used to work out the weight of material needed.

The formula for this is Mass = Density x Volume

The density can be found on the technical data sheet (SG)

So if you have 100cm x 50cm x 1.5cm = 7,500 cm3

7500 x 1.2 = 9,000g  which is 9 kilos  - so this would be the amount to mix + allowances for waste in mixing and pouring - around 10%
