Gelflex Vinyl Moulding Rubber

Gelflex is a hot melt PVC moulding material which can be re-used many times. Available in two grades it provides an extremely cost effective alternative to more expensive materials and produces excellent results.
Supplied as a solid material in 25kg bags it is easily cut up into small pieces ready for heating. The solid Gelflex can be melted using a simple thermostatically controlled heating vessel to avoid overheating. After the mould has been used it can be reheated and melted down again for use in another mould. Gelflex should be heated to between 150ºC and 165ºC

Over the years Gelflex has become very popular for use in creating wax models for use in the lost wax process for Bronze casting, Pate de Verre and Glass casting. It is also exceptionally good for use when casting plaster and concrete.
